The Ferreria's
David, Christie & Aidan live in Culver City, California, which is in the Westside of Los Angeles, just southeast of Santa Monica. Aidan is only a few months old; he was born on September 26, 2005 to his loving (and excited!) parents. David is an attorney at the law firm of Mark Music & Media Law, where he practices transactional entertainment law in the music and recording industries. He is a Freemason and a Shriner; is a Paster Master of Santa Monica-Palisades Masonic Lodge (No. 307) in Santa Monica (having served as its Worshipful Master in 2006) and is now the Lodge's Head Candidates Coach; and he currently serves the Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of the State of California as a member of its Jurisprudence Committee. Christie is studying Cosmetology at Santa Monica College and when not studying, her days are busy caring for Aidan (and making sure David keeps his head on straight). She is also a life-long Girl Scout having been the leader of a troop in Sacramento and of the Girl Scout Brownie Troop at Grant Elementary in Santa Monica. Christie is also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and serves the Dr. Rob Morris Chapter of the OES in Santa Monica as Electa. The couple is known for their swing dancing (lindy hop), their love of punk, ska and alternative music and their inclination to dress retro at times and rock-ish at others. They’re both tattooed and pierced -- with Christie easily outpacing David in that regard. They’re traditionalists and hipsters at the same time; and while they realize that that pairing doesn’t make a lot of sense to most people, it works for them.
